Chelsea have completed the signing of Travis Akomeah from Watford. The 16-year -old centre back has been signed on loan. Travis was born in England but from Ghanaian parents.

Accordingly, numerous clubs in the English Premier League including Liverpool, Arsenal, Norwich City, among others had previously showed interest in signing the English centre back but in vain.

Travis has had a huge rise in the game after Signing for Watford only 2 years ago. Recently getting the call for England.
He has on several occasions been praised as a developing talent by Watford. This was a quote by Watford Under-18 Lead coach Simon Clark after a goalless draw between Watford and Birmingham City on Tuesday 27th April, 2021.
"We’ve started the game with an Under-15 as a right-sided centre-half,” said Clark. “Travis, he’s turned 15 in January, he’s never been on the bench, but he’s started and played a full 90 minutes and he was absolutely tremendous."(alert-success)
