RELATED

In a Sunday afternoon Premier League clash, Manchester City visited Everton's Goodison Park, and secured an easy 3-0 win over their opponents. The reigning champions Manchester City dominated the game from start to finish and showed their class by scoring three goals without conceding any.

Ilkay Gundogan opened the scoring for Manchester City in the 37th minute after a beautiful assist from Riyad Mahrez. Just two minutes later, Erling Haland doubled their lead with Gundogan again assisting the goal. The second half saw Gundogan score his second of the match in the 51st minute, sealing an impressive victory for Pep Guardiola's men.

The home side struggled to get into the game and was outclassed in every department by their visitors. Everton managed only three attempts on goal, with only one shot on target, whereas Manchester City had seven attempts with four of them on target. The ball possession stat showed Manchester City’s complete dominance, with a 64% possession rate.

James Garner of Everton was shown a yellow card in the 49th minute for a foul. The home team made two substitutions, bringing in Conor Coady for Mason Holgate and Amadou Mvom Onana for Idrissa Gueye, but it did not change their fortunes.

Manchester City made four substitutions throughout the game, with Sergio Gomez replacing Ruben Dias in the 90th minute, Kalvin Phillips coming in for Rodri in the 88th minute, Jack Grealish replacing Erling Haland in the 78th minute, and Bernardo Silva taking over Ilkay Gundogan’s place in the 78th minute.

With this victory, Manchester City secured their 27th win of the season, keeping them at the top of the Premier League table with 85 points. Meanwhile, Everton is stuck in 17th place with only 32 points, which could see them relegated from the top flight of English football if they do not improve their form in the remaining matches of the season.

Manchester City put in a clinical performance against a struggling Everton side, securing an easy 3-0 win. The visitors looked a class above their opponents in every aspect of the game, which is a testament to their quality and dominance in English football.
