Roma clinches Europa League final spot with 1-0 victory over Bayer Leverkusen

In a semifinal match in the Europa League, AS Roma secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Bayer Leverkusen at home. The match held on Thursday, May 11, saw both teams putting up a strong fight, but it was Roma that came out on top with a brilliant performance.

The first half of the game ended goalless, with both teams having several opportunities to score. However, it was Roma's Edoardo Bove who broke the deadlock in the 63rd minute, scoring the only goal of the match. Bove's strike was enough to seal the win for the Italian side and secure their place in the final.

Roma dominated possession, with 55% of the ball, while Bayer Leverkusen struggled to create any clear-cut chances throughout the match. The home side had five shots on target compared to Leverkusen's one and completed 305 passes to the visitors' 491.
