It can be confirmed that FC Barcelona and Manchester City reached a mutual agreement for the transfer of Ferran Torres on a fee of €55 millions.

Barcelona will pay €55m guaranteed plus €10m in installments. Manchester City accepted to sell only because Ferrán asked to move back to Spain. Xavi was key as he called Ferrán many times and he only wanted him. Torres signed a 5 year contract that will last till 2027. According to sources, there's an €1B clause for any club that wished to sign the Spaniard before the maturity of his contract.

Ferran Torres also known as García was born on 29 February 2000. The 21 will be playing as a forward for FC Barcelona and the Spain national team. He has represented Spain internationally at various youth levels and debuted for the senior team in 2020. Torres had so far played 10 games for Manchester City and scored 3 goals and made 1 assist in the 448 minutes he has had while in pitch combined together this season.
According to Barcelona Website(link), Torres will be presented as a new member of the club's first team squad on Monday 3 January, from 11.00am CET, in a event preceding the open doors training session at 12.00pm CET at Camp Nou.
